VW Cattle started as VanderWal Shorthorns with the first group of heifers being purchased in 1978. For the majority of the herd's existence, it has focused largely on creating show ring quality stock. While we are still raising some quality show calves, a large focus of our herd has shifted to meat production. We look to provide the BEST quality beef straight to the consumer. Our mission is to put out consistently great beef with exceptional customer service. We promise nothing but the highest quality in our responsibly raised beef.
